Carmelites

A group of lay Carmelites meet in the parish on the 3rd Saturday of each month. They also invite parishioners to join them once a month for a talk, discussion and Adoration.

Children's Liturgy Group

The children participate in their own reflection on the Liturgy of the Word each Sunday at the 9:30am Mass. They process out after the introduction and return to join the procession of gifts. It is a thriving group but the organisers welcome new helpers. See PP or one of current organisers

Church Cleaning

This is usually done on Tuesday mornings after the 9.15am Mass. They are a small but dedicated group who would love a few more people to join them.

Eucharistic Ministers (EOMHC)

Extra-Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EOMHC) have special training and are commissioned for their ministry. They have days of recollection several times each year. Rota arranged.

Music & Liturgy

A small group of musicians lead both the Saturday vigil Mass and morning Mass on Sundays. We have several guitarists as well as our organist but would welcome other instrumentalists and more singers. We keep up to date by attending courses and aim for a blend of the old and new.

Parish Team

Headed by the Parish Priest meets monthly, in the parish house.

Prayer Group

A long established charismatic prayer group, meet EVERY Sunday at 7:30pm in the day chapel. New members welcome.

Readers

The readers work to a rota and usually read about every 5 weeks. We think our standard is high and most of our readers have attended courses given by Dr Marian Tolley
